What a crazy day and we are srill just in Chicago! Seven people and a ton of bags to check in makes things chaotic! Our flights were initially messed up but it all worked out. Now I am anxiously awaiting the flight to London. Pretty excited to explore London for the day... Sure hoping I can sleep on the flight. I can't wait to get to Africa! I have a feeling we are in for a great adventure.

Busy beginnings
The last month has been especially busy. I ran a 25k, which was amazing! I had a birthday! And we have been spending a lot of time and energy to prep for a trip to Rwanda.
I have wanted to start a blog for quite awhile... I'm excited about it and only wish I had done it sooner.
Maybe then I could have talked about the pure joy I felt while running the 25k.
For now, I'll leave you with this picture of the race and the promise (or hope) to be able to blog from Rwanda. We leave Friday - I cannot believe it!
